stubborn Stumps was born in 2016
I started Stubborn Stump Grinding and Tree Care in April of 2016 as a way to help support my new family and to get back into a career path that I had enjoyed in my younger years after being laid off from my Oil and Gas job.
I started my business as a part time venture while maintaining a full time arborist job with a much larger operation.
After a few years and growing demand for our services, I decided to take the leap into running Stubborn Stumps full time in 2019.
We’ve come a long way!
Since that time we have grown considerably and we started out with just one small truck, one small stump grinder and an echo chainsaw. Today we have multiple stump grinding machines, dump truck, chipper and various other equipment for tree removal and maintenance.
We have employed several people over the last few years and are looking to go even further then the boarders of Alberta in the future.
